Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: February 22: Vision In Social Arena (VISA) and Friend's Club (Navi Mumbai) are arranging a Street Kids Awareness Programme on the 26th February 2006 at in Ryan International School, Nerul from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. The highlight of the programme will be the performance of some unique artists from different parts of the globe.

The aim of this programme is to create awareness amongst people to help in the cause of transforming the life of street children who have a pathetic life otherwise.

The programme will see live performances from Benny Prasad, a unique guitarist who is featured in the Limca Book of Records for designing a one of its kind bongo guitar. He has also the distinction of being the most travelled musician in the world -50 countries in the last one year, Ebbey, an acoustics guitarist, Billy Yesudien a high energy Rap Artist and an African Band called Chariots who sing and make out of the world music without any musical instruments. Steve's gyms Power Team, led by Steve, former Mr Karnataka, is the only Indian team dedicated to bring awareness on aids, drugs and smoking. They will be performing some of the most difficult and incredible power stunts, such as tearing telephone directories, running a jeep on stomach, breaking concrete blocks or ice blocks, inflating hot water bags etc. The programme will also see some Transformed kids from VISA Home playing some class acts.

VISA, established in 1997, is a Christian humanitarian organization that aims to transform the lives of children living on the street and providing emotional, educational and medical relief to the terminally ill destitute, while FRIEND'S CLUB (Navi Mumbai) is involved in blood donation drives to save lives.
