Vashi2Panvel.Com : Navi Mumbai : March 30: Sunil Nair, Supervisor; Mangesh Wagh, Opertaion executive; Ramesh Rathod, delivery boy; Swaroop Bhattacharya, Sales boy and Chirangiv Shah, all working for VRL Logistics were arrested yesterday by APMC police under the case of fraud. They have stolen gold, silver coins, photos and lockets having god's images on it worth more than Rs.43 lakhs.

They were arrested after Harvender Lente filed a complaint against them at APMC police station when he found a parcel missing. There were three parcels that arrived at the Shiv Plaza building office, Vashi a few days back, two of which were delivered on time and the third one was kept for delivery later. Mr. Lente found the parcel missing and so police have arrested the five people as of now.

Senior PI Bharat Shelke said that insiders of the company are involved in it or else how will they know what was there in the parcel. APMC police is investigating the case further and suspect that a few more parcels may be missing.
