Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: March 1: A husband kills his wife due to a minor fight. Lilabai Jadhav (20) and her husband Ganesh Jadhav (25) were working in a private fishery firm at Devicha Pada, Panvel. Their job was to clean the fish for the export market.

Lilabai and Ganesh worked for the same firm and had a love marriage and resided in the same area where they worked. On 28 th March Lilabai had a minor fight with her colleagues, who went and complained it to Ganesh. He shouted at her and in the evening he went to Lilabai's sisters, Savita Pawar's home in the same area and asked her to talk with Lilabai. He returned home and again started beating Lilabai for fighting with others. As per Savita, Lilabai was killed in this fight itself. The duo used to stay alone in their flat at Panvel and they never had a big fight with each other, informed neighbours. Ganesh is taken into Taloja police custody as the case is registered here and PSI Jadhav will investigate it further now.
