Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: November 29 : Navi Mumbai Sports Association (NMSA) is now organizing ‘Office Cricket Tournament’. This started here from 25th November and will go on till 15th Feb 2007. It is the 18th year that this tournament is being held between 12 companies.

The inaugural match was won by ATL Ltd Co by 55 runs played against CIDCO. For the inauguration Assistant Labour Commissioner Mr V M Sawanth and the Guest of Honour Dr. Dilip Rane, Vice President NMSA, were present here.

ATL made 118 and won by the 55 runs in the match played on Saturday at the NMSA ground, Vashi. After winning the match the captain of the team Abhijeet Bhirje said, “Our team has won because of the efforts of the all my team boys and specially our bowlers”. He added that the best batsman of there team was Kalpesh Kadam, 27 runs, and the best ballers were Sunil Singh, 14 runs and 5 wickets, and Deodatt who gave only 6 runs and took 4 wickets.
