Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: October 27: Today afternoon Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik’s Janta Darbar that is organized on every Friday, witnessed a ruckus which was created over pay and park at Sector 17, Vashi.

Some of the Vashi residents accused the Pay and Park service at sector 17 for charging money even after the cancellation of its contract by the civic authorities. “The residents complaint in Janta Darbar against the Akashyadeep Vividh Karya Kari Sanstha, who had the contract for the vehicle parking at Sector 17, Vashi, for taking money for vehicle parking even after the termination of its contract. Consequently the matter was also reported to the Vashi Police,” reveals Police official on condition of anonymity. Apparently parking contractor Yogesh Shantaram Gaikar refutes the charges and said that he has all the written documents that prove that the contract is still valid.
