Navi Mumbai buzzing with quick munching corners
Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: September 21: If you are the one amongst the lot, who think that Navi Mumbai is nothing more than an overgrown village then let me brush your knowledge about some of the happening small eateries of the city, which are turning into an asset for this satellite city. Here is the brief list of some of cool snacks pubs, which are becoming foodies delight.
If you yearn to satisfy your taste buds but hesitate to hog on to the unhygienic and calories laden food then ‘Health’ at Sector 28, Vashi is just the right place for you. It specializes in fruit juices and all kinds of mock tails. Along with juices it also serves variety of sandwiches. This snack corner has also placed a stall for Paani-Puri lovers, in which bisleri water is used. So, no wonder this eating joint is becoming a hotspot for quick munching. “I go to ‘Health’ quite often since it offers amazing fruit juices and I like their open sitting arena,” tells Vashi resident Gulnaz Ali. ‘Delhi Chaat’ is another name, which is gaining popularity these days among the Navi Mumbaikars, who frequents sector 17, Vashi. It is one place, which is ideal for people who relish street chaat. Whether you wanna have mouth-watering Panni-Puri / Dahi-puri or lip-smacking Shev-Puri, this is a good option to have yummy North-Indian chaat. “Earlier I had a snack corner at Breach Candy hospital but due to the chaotic life at Mumbai, I relocated my snacks corner to Vashi, which is doing very good over here. Approximately I get 200 to 250 customers every day, who like to eat Indian munchies.” informs Delhi-Chaat owner Neelkamal Grover. ‘Kaygee’ at Sector 5 Nerul and ‘Taste-maker’ at Sector 4 New Panvel are also counted among the admired snacks corners of the city. Both these joints offer right from Chinese snacks like spring rolls to India’s much-loved Pav-Bhaji. These joints have a regular clientele of college goers, who prefer to take a quick bite of a burger or patties rather then the full meal. “I go to Kaygees frequently since his snacks are really yummy and especially noodles,” avers Panvel resident Ruhi Garg. If you are looking for serene and tranquil place to enjoy your food then Vashi Juice Center at First floor International Infotech Park in Vashi Railway Station Complex is just the place for you. Besides fruit juices and shakes, it also provides sandwiches, samosas, bread rolls, etc. For our very own tasty vada-Pau, samosa-pau, baji-pau or toast or cheese toast sandwich ‘Tropicana’ opposite D-mart, Koperkhaire is the perfect place to enjoy these snacks that too without burning a hole into your pocket. The recently opened eating joint ‘The Cross Cafe’ at Kharghar near Hiranandani complex is also making its place among the city’s food lovers. It is attracting the foodies with its delicious pastries, pizzas, burgers, etc. But here, Hookah’ is also the main attraction for many. So, do not forget to checkout these places for a quick bite.
