Where is the road connecting Khandeshwar and Kamothe
Vashi2Panvel.com: Navi Mumbai: June 14: CIDCO has built cities and are associated with all the infrastructure and planning in the Navi Mumbai belt. But who will develop and construct the main connecting road in between Kamothe and Khandeshwar Station which is a priority and necessity for the unfortunate residents of Kamothe.
The current scenario is that the residents of Kamothe do not have a connecting main road to the Khandeshwar Station. The closest station for them is Mansorovar Station which is under construction and hence is not accessible. Secondly the residents use a bypass road created in the landscape by walking daily through this stretch. But as the monsoon sets in, this stretch of road becomes inaccessible due to water logging and muck of the loose soil. This road also becomes prone to water borne diseases. Hence these residents do not have another access option to reach Khandeshwar station except through CBD Belapur or via Kalamboli which is a costly option for the daily commuting public. With schools reopening, there is great hurry to send children to school early. Without this connecting road they will have to start much before schedule to reach their respective stations. CIDCO needs to at least construct a temporary road till the monsoons and relieve the residents of this grave inconvenience. CIDCO if you are listening, here is the hour and day to act and show what you stand for in the context of the word 'INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING'. Fabian Edward Misquitta (New Panvel)
