There is a perceptual change of luxury in the minds of the people who now want to have the best of everything. This gradual shift has led them to innovate and beautify each and every corner of their home, starting from drawing room to restroom. People are interested to utilize the best possible accessories to make their house more comfortable. “We want to fit the best of the models available to suit the décor of our new residence,” says a Panvel resident Geeta Chakole who is renovating her house. There is a buzz in the industry and the definition of comfort keeps changing in the minds of the people.

The prime reason which is acting as a catalyst to this change is the availability of a plethora of new designs to suit the requirements at an individual level. The array of bathroom fittings which are available today does not limit to the ceramic of the earlier days rather it has extended to glass and coloured glass to suit the furnishings of the house.

“The customer of today wants an individual touch and distinction in everything which he has. There is a tendency that the variety available with me should be uncommon and inimitable.” Says Mr. Rajesh Agarwal of Royal Fittings. “Now a days it is a trend to do designing of every facet of their house, so that the house has a synchronized look.” He remarks.

The designs of the bathroom fittings available are transforming on a regular basis. There are many novelties coming up on the designs available. The latest model of Rain shower is an accessory which every developer is providing with a house as a package. “Today the customers are demanding for the latest in the market. They want the best of everything.” Informs Ms. Rekha Soni of Creative enterprises. “They pay equal importance to every part of their home today, unlike earlier when they concentrated on the drawing room.” She adds.

The price range of bathroom accessories varies from a minimal amount of 250 to a soaring Rs.2000. These prices depend on the quality and the finishing of the product. Today people have a different stance towards everything. So, why leave the previously neglected portion of the house which has lately become designer’s favorite.
