State-level chrysalis concludes
Vashi2panvel.com: Navi Mumbai: March 30: The much-awaited state level MGM College event, Chrysalis culminated with much fanfare yesterday. Around 30 colleges from Kolhapur, Nashik, Aurangabad and many other states had participated. The tech fest organised by the engineering department of the college was all about project exhibition, robotics, software quiz, technical quiz, LAN games, dalal street, structural design, web design and much more.
“The response was tremendous. Robotics was our main event went on quite well. But unfortunately one of our events, boat recessing was cancelled due to some problem,” Says Aranya Dutta, T.Y Electronic telecom branch. Students from various streams viz. Computer, IT, Electronic and telecommunication, Bio-medical, Chemical and Civil engineering made their presence felt. The first, second and third winners received cash worth Rs. 2000, Rs. 1500 and Rs. 1000 respectively. MGM College and A.C. Patil College emerged as winners in robotics. MGM College professors, Prof. P. P. Narvade, Mrs. S.S. Wadkar and Vidhuled Mohite, judged all the events. By Aarti Shah
