Vashi2panvel.com: Navi Mumbai: March 20: While many college students in Navi Mumbai are busy with their lectures, presentations, practicals and exams, the students of MGM College of engineering and technical studies are gearing up for their college fest, Chrysallis scheduled on 28th and 29th March. Chrysallis, an inter-collegiate fest would see 23 colleges participating from Mumbai, Kolhapur, Nasik and even Aurangabad.


The students have lined up an interesting mix of events such as project exhibition, robotics, software quiz, technical quiz, LAN games, dalal street, structural design web design and many more. Though the event sounds similar to a tech-fest Chintamani bets its much more than that! There would be many sessions consisting of lectures and presentation by academicians and industrialists.

And, like all college fests, even MGM has raked in big moolah to attract students from all parts of the country. The lucky first prize winner would take home booty worth Rs.2000 cash while the second and third prize winners would have 1500 and 1000 cash in hand! And guess what? Trustees of the colleges are sponsoring the entire event. Now we know where the lofty sums of fees paid my engineering students goes!
