Vashi2Panvel.com: Navi Mumbai: February 11: They rejoice when others slog: While most of the undergraduate colleges in Navi Mumbai are gearing towards their exams, the engineering and medical colleges are having a blast and celebrating their respective college festivals. Take for instance the Terna College.

The students are preparing in full force for their upcoming fest- ‘Santra’ which is an intra collegiate event beginning on 17th Feb 2006. Various events like group dance, solo dance, duet singing, group singing, drama fashion show have been lined up. So while the commerce, science and arts students will be slogging, its fun time for Terna Students!

Big things come in little packages

Here is another intra collegiate event. The Ram Avadhik Institute of Technology is holding ‘Aakarsan’ a small intra collegiate musical event on 14th & 15th Feburary 2006.The event will be held in the D.Y Patil College campus and is bei ng sponsored by Garnier. While branding of the college is underway in one hand with students making posters and decorating corridors, others are busy preparing to compete in the two day event consiting of singing and rock show. I get to hear that it is the big event ‘Horizons’ for which the students are waiting and working really hard for. But hell man so many festivals!

Now college news from Kharghar. The ITM college in Kharghar is organizing ‘Frisson’, with events to test your enterprising skills and business sense like krisismania, war of the words, cinema verta, E=[TM] 2, khoj. Qsson, football, unriddle the work place riddle, get the eyeballs, rock the camp and urban Choupal. The event to be held on 20th, 21st and 22nd Feburary is an intercollegiate event and participations from a lot of B-schools is also expected. Good that’s a different festival for a change!
