'Munch always to stay fit'
![]() Pooja is extremely fond of chatpata khana like Bhelpuri, Pani Puri and Sev Puri and these hit the chart as her top favourite foods. Ask her about her most-loved cuisine and she lists down Japanese and Italian besides her love for hot beverages from different parts of the world! “I love coffee and tea and can have as many as 15 cups of coffee in just one day. I like variety in tea also so I’ve had jasmine tea, green tea or our own masala chai, besides several others,” she says. There’s hardly anything that Pooja loathes and avoids but she abhors having sweets. Not really a chocolate-person, she just likes cheese cakes and carrot cake (gajar ka halwa). Pooja likes to eat throughout the day and eats at least six times in a day that rages from descript to non-descript menu. “I never keep myself hungry. But though I eat six times a day I eat in small portions. I can’t have a good stomach full meal at one go. That makes me sluggish,” she articulates. There is no such thing as a pretty good omelette Pooja’s breakfast comprises of two-egg omelette. If not omelette, she takes toasts or poha or “anything light.” Also, she enjoys a platter of fresh and healthy fruits. And…“How can I miss a tea?” she laughs. Lunch like a prince I have a light lunch and an early afternoon snack follows soon. I have a second snack servings in the evenings too. One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well. Pooja has a perfect dinner that is light and nutritious. “I don’t like monotony so my dinners can’t be the same. I have something different each time,” she says. “A glass of hot coffee with cookies is a great to pamper yourself before a tight sleep!” she feels. Swati Pandey
