Vashi Fine Arts Society to celebrate Annual Day on February 11



Vashi2Panvel.com: Navi Mumbai: January 15: Vashi Fine Arts Society (VFAS), is celebrating its Eighth Annual Day on February 11. The VFAS that was started by the strong south Indian community in Navi Mumbai, was established in 1997 with an objective to promote fine arts in Navi Mumbai.

The organisation has been conducting various programmes based on Carnatic Music, Bharatnatyam and drama. VFAS has a drama troupe and a special women's wing too to enhance its activities. Currently, the organisation is in the process of raising funds towards building a 600 seater-auditorium and a music school.
