Navi Mumbai civic body faces action
Vashi2Panvel.com: Navi Mumbai: October 25: The Bombay High Mumbai has restored 78 contracts, prematurely terminated by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC).
The firms, had moved the court, after their five year contract of clearing and transporting waste was terminated. The court had observed that the civic body had not followed the contract clause to review the work before discontinuing. The court gave the NMMC three months’ time to review the contractor’s work and also pay for withholding and delaying the payment for the period after the petition was filed. V2P Correspondent
