Labour reforms in SEZs must
Vashi2Panvel.com: Navi Mumbai: October 15: Experts insist that without reforms in labour laws, special economic zones (SEZ) would not work. Two SEZ, one at Navi Mumbai and the other at Nagpur will be set up by the state government.
Economists add that SEZ bill will be silent on important issues of labour reforms. SEZ’s in China have virtually no labour laws, to attract investment, we must give them these benefits, they add as mere tax concessions are not enough to attract foreign capital. Union workers too will benefit from these labour reforms. V2P Correspondent
