Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: Sept 29:The District level Kho-Kho tournament organised by Airoli Sports Association (ASA) successfully culminated on Monday with nine players from Navi Mumbai being selected for the State level tournament to be held at Pimpri-Chinchwad on October 2.

The event was held at Radhikabai Meghe Vidyalaya ground, Airoli. “The game was organised in two categories-for men and women. There were fifteen teams under men and nine under women, both from Thane district,” says Dr.Milind Anarthe, Secretary-ASA.

Fifteen players have been selected from each category for the State level tournament. Out of these, five men and four women who have been selected are from Airoli. “We’ve been giving training to many of these players since a month and all these nine winners are from our association,” says Anarthe.

The open tournament was organised by ASA under Thane district Kho-Kho association.
