Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: March 3: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president was seen in the city recently. Raj Thackrey had come to Panvel to inaugurate the new offices to be used for Zilla Parishad elections of Panvel District to be held in mid March. Pravin Dalvi from Taloja and Kashinath Patil from Ovegaav are standing for the elections from Panvel District.

Raj addressed hundreds of volunteers/ party workers assembled here and pointed that the main problem in this area is the farmer losing his fertile land. He said that his party would fight for the rights of the framer against all odds. He said that all parties have to come together to fight against Special Economic Zone (SEZ). In the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) Elections MNS had not got even a single seat but after the BMC elections Raj and his party is hopeful for the Zilla Parishad elections.
