Rash driving costs pillion riding teenager his life
Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: December 14: One more road accident. Amit Salunke (20) was driving his brand new Bajaj Motorbike which was yet to be registered with the RTO. (It had no number on it.) Anurag Pande (16) was sitting behind him. Both were on their way from Karave Gaon to Nerul. Near Nerul gymkhana, Amit lost control of his bike, as a stone came in the way. Anurag fell died on the way to the Vashi NMMC hospital.
Amit is being treated at D Y Patil hospital, Nerul for his injuries. The accident took place on Sunday morning at around 8am. Anurag's postmortem was done at Vashi NMMC hospital and PSI Nalavde from Nerul Police station will investigate the case further. Kartiki Shastry (with inputs from Dinesh Yede)
