Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: February 7: A contractor has been arrested for not giving safety precaution equipment to the laborer. Mohammad Miya (25) was working as laborer at the construction site of a water tank at Sector 34, Kamote. Ashok Gupta (32), contractor was supposed to give helmet and other precautionary equipments to the staff which he did not give.

So, when Mohammad fell down from the tank he died on the spot. His body was taken to Panvel Rural hospital. Ashok Gupta has been taken under custody by Kalamboli police station from where PSI Mahamunkar will investigate the case further.
