Sleeping pavement dweller hit by car, dies



Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: February 7: Pathram Sikeria (35) was hit by an Indica car (MH 04 CE 4054) at 3 am yesterday, when he was sleeping outside his hut at Khanda Colony, Panvel. Pathram was a contract worker in the near by site at Khanda colony. Ravi Verma (21) an eyewitness immediately took him to Vashi NMMC hospital.

But Pathram died on the way. His postmortem was done at Vashi NMMC hospital. The driver is still absconding, said PSI Giakwad from Kalamboli police station who will investigate the case from here.
