Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: January 23: Mega International Dance Festival will be organised by International Centre For Cultural Relations (ICCR) at Mumbai and Navi Mumbai on the occasion of the World Dance Day on 29th April 2007. Thousands of male and female dancers, media persons, volunteers and co-ordiantors from the different parts of India and abroad are expected to participate in it.

This festival is open for all kind of dance forms by individual or groups dances including western Indian, folk, classical, fusion, filmy by professional and amateur male and female artists of all age groups.

“This is not a competition of any kind but a platform for all the Indian dancers to perform in front of international audience,” said Mr Rajan V, President of ICCR while talking to Vashi2Panvel.Com. He proudly added that countries like, Australia, Spain, USA, Lithuania have already confirmed their participation for the event.

The selection of this will be done at Rabindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi in Mumbai and in Navi Mumbai at ICCR office at Nerul on 28th January 2007 Sunday. There is an opportunity to present other performing arts like Singing, Acting, Mimicry, Laughter Show and Magic show on the occasion.

For folk dance enthusiasts, the festival will provide a rare chance to learn the folk dances of Maharashtra free of cost on holidays.
