Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: January 18: January 16th. Yogesh Mhatre (18) was sitting behind on bike no. MH06 Q 9053 that Arun Mahatre was driving. They were on Panvel-Mumbra highway road in front of the Steel Market, Kalamboli when the truck no. MH31 CV 865 hit them from behind. Yogesh died on the spot and Arun has minor injuries for which he took treatment at Panvel Rural Hospital.

This accident happened on January 16th at around 6pm, both were residents of Kamote village. Yogesh’s postmortem was done at Panvel Rural hospital and PSI T P Patil from Kalamboli police station will investigate the matter further.

A similar accident took place at Nocil Naka, Thane – Belapur road, Ghansoli, where Savio Sivera (23) was driving his bike no. MH05 AE 7353 when an unidentified red colored truck hit him from behind. On the same road Anil Yadav (20) was on his cycle, who also was hit by the truck, but he has got minor injuries.

The accident took place on January 16th at around 7pm. Savio was a resident of Ambrenath; his body was taken to Vashi NMMC hospital for postmortem. PSI Chate from Turbhe police station will investigate the matter further.
