Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: December 29: A Bajarang Dal leader has been arrested by New Panvel Police for injuring a Cattle trader on 27th December at around 11.55pm. Shamsher Kureshi (23) was on his was from Kurar gaon to Mumbai in his Mahendra jeep, MH 06/ 9084 in which he had 6 buffalos.

Shamsher informed the police that he was taking these animals to sell them in the Kalyan Bazar. When Paresh Murbadkar, Bajarang Dal Chief of Panvel along with three others stopped Shamsher ‘s jeep at Palaspe Naka at Mumbai- Pune Highway. Paresh and his partners attacked Shamsher and injured him and his jeep. Paresh thought that Shamsher was taking the cattle for killing them, so they attacked him.

Case is registered at New Panvel police station against Paresh and the 3 others who are under custody as of now. API Avinash Patil will investigate the matter further from New Panvel Police station.
