Common fashion goof ups
Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: September 18: Fashion gurus feel that ‘change is the only permanent thing in fashion.’ However, it is seen that the rapidly changing trends end up confusing many people, resulting in ‘fashion goof up’. It is something that even the most fashion conscious girls cannot completely flee from. At times a minor fashion error can also prove to be an utter disaster, which is capable to tarnish the entire grace of your personality. Vashi2Panvel.Com did the recee around the city to find out the most common fashion mistakes committed by Navi Mumbai girls, who look more or less like a fashion victim:
1.Stretchable Jeans: Stretchable, monkey wash and bell bottom styles in jeans are completely out-of-trend. It is really funny to see girls still wearing stretchable or bell-bottoms jeans that too with trendy uppers. Besides giving the dated look, this mismatch ruins the look of the upper as well. So, simplicity is the key. Simple and regular fit jean is all that is required, which will give you a sober yet trendy look. 2.Chipped nail enamel: Fashion experts feel that it is wiser to keep nails without nail enamel instead of chipped nail paints, if one finds it tedious to polish the nails regularly. So, all those girls with chipped nail polish, especially toe chipped nails peeping from their sleek sandals should consider this. Clear nail enamel, which add shine to the nails, is another option to escape from ugly looking chipped nail paints. 3.Wrong selection of accessories: It seems that many city girls suffer from wrong-accessory-selection problem and the most commonly noticed mish-match are ‘formal watch with a casual attire’ and ‘sporty watch with formal pair of trouser’, wearing a watch in dial-under-wrist style, teaming block heels or sandals with jeans, wearing junk jewellery with gold ornaments and so forth. The resolution for this problem is to select right kind of fashion accessory with the right outfit and say strict no-no to dial-under-wrist style and combining of gold with oxidized jewellery since it gives a complete of sync look. 4.Wearing socks with sandals: Yes, some girls still do this. Please stop-thinking that it looks cute. Leave socks for sneakers only unless it is winter and you happen to be in Delhi. It is very- very LS (Lower Society) to say the least. 5.Patalia- Style salwar-kameez: If your boyfriend creates fuzz, seeing you in Patalia style salwar-kameez then do not blame him. You need to leave your much-loved Patalia style dress a side as this trend has already bid adieu from our city. 6.Body squeezing clothes: There are still some girls, who feel that body-hugging clothes will make them look slimmer. Big time misconception girls, on the contrary very tight fitted clothes gives you a bulky look. At the same one time one should not go for extremely loose clothes. Avoid buying odds and ends from the sale. Pick the outfits as per your correct body measurements. 7.Too much of colour matching: It is really ridiculous to see girls, who go over board in matching the colours. Some girls try to match the colour of everything, right from the dress colour to the colour of their shoes and earrings. The ideal is to match two or three colours that will give a balance look to you. 8.Bra straps showing from deep necklines: while commuting in buses or local train in the city one can easily spot numerous girls with their bra straps sneaking from their stylish outfits. Besides looking awkward, it throws a very L S impression. Therefore ensure wearing either a strapless or racer bra with deep necklines dresses. So, try escaping from these pitfalls to walk a trendy yet smooth road of fashion. Preeti Gupta
