Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: September13: Rashtriya Kandesh Mahasangha along with Sri Govardani Sarvajanik Seva Sanstha have begun the registration for all religion mass marriage to be held nerly five months from now on 28th January 2007 at CIDCO Ground near Assam Bhavan, Vashi.

While talking to Vashi2Panvel.com Rashtriya Kandesh Mahasangha PRO Sumit Waghamare said
“This event is going to be the first of its kind in Navi Mumbai. The primary objective of this programe is to assist the financially weak people to get married since marriage has turned into a costly affair these days.” He adds further, “The organizations will provide clothes to both bride and bridegroom. Along with that the organizers will also give food to all the baratis, some kitchen utensils, mangal sutra to the bride and other expenditures like mandap decoration, etc. will also be taken care of by these organizations.

Sri Govardani Sarvajaik Seva Sanstha under the leadership of MLC Manda Mhatre has been working for the betterment of women in Navi Mumbai since many years. Prakash Bhimrao is the president of Rashtriya Kandesh Mahasangha, which has organized many flood and earthquake relief programs in the city.

The last date of registration is December 15, 2006 and the minimum age for bride should be 18 and bridegroom should not be less than 21 year of age.
