Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: September 4: This is with reference to your article ‘Pillai’s College students strike against fee hike’ dated August 19. I’m a student of this college and would like to point out the problems that we face regularly due to fee hike. Recently the management has started the "divide and rule" policy. They are offering ‘discount’ to students on the basis of merit and this applies only to the top cream of students. The college authorities have threatened the other students with dire consequences with respect to their teamwork marks if they oppose them.

Although infrastructure (from classrooms, library to computers) is being shared among management, architecture, diploma, arts, commerce along with engineering, the management has comfortably forgotten this fact. The total cost for infrastructure is not distributed rather each course has to pay separately the same amount.
