Most of our collection is picked up from Jaipur and Jodhpur,” states the cashier of the beautifully furnished shop.

The collection of ganpati idols that the shop displays is surely worth a look, “The ganesha idols that we showcase are made by a very famous artist of Maharashtra, Mr. Dabolkar.” Besides this the shop also showcases a lot of brass items, which are all imported from Indore, as it is quite famous for its brass collection.

One thing that sets this shop, which is based in Nerul a class apart from the other shops who offer the same kind of collection and items is that compared to the other shops, this shop provides its customer with a more reasonable range of prices compared to the price of the same product in the market. “We have a lot of good contacts in the markets of Rajasthan which not many dealers in Mumbai have had. That is one of the reasons why we can provide better rates to our customers,” boasts the cashier.

The owner of the shop Rajendra Singh Shekhawat, is the son of the Governor of Rajasthan, Prabha Tai Patel who also inaugurated the shop a year back along with Ganesh Naik.

The shop boasts of a varied collection of furniture as well. In a way the shop has everything under one roof.
