Vashi2Panvel.com: Navi Mumbai: Aug 8: The Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Sabha, at Balaji Mandir, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, is running a Lifeline Project, to attend to the medical needs of the society. The main focus of this project is the Cardiac Ambulance Van Service for Navi Mumbai and Raigad. The project was made plausible through generous donations from M/s State Bank of India. The Cardiac Ambulance van is open to the people 24 hours.

They have arranged for a air-conditioned Tempo Traveler van in a state of the art world class facility, equipped with Ventilator, cardiac monitor, defibrillator, pulse oximeter, suction machine, UPS Unit, facilities for feeding Oxygen, Saline drips and all emergency drugs, along with a qualified
doctor and nurse team.

The project also provides for picking up the patients from their homes in emergency cases. The project has received support from Lakshdeep hospital and ICCU in Vashi, by means of offering the use of their premises and medical back up to improve the efficiency quotient.

“SLN Sabha is offering this service at a reasonable rate as it is a charitable organization, the earnings of which will be put to use for maintenance purposes. The rates are a 1000 Rs per hour. The financially weak patients may also find their fees waived off”, said the official spokesperson for the temple.
