Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: June 15: Fresh colours, cool ambience, an appealing menu… This describes ‘Tastemakers’, a newly opened pure vegetarian fast food joint at sector-4, New Panvel. The Tastemakers have caught the pulse of the teenagers who had been longing for a good food joint in their vicinity. Besides the usual junkies what makes this place mentionable is their extensive menu of healthy fruit juices which earlier used to be an item of the jogging tracks only.

This food plaza, inaugurated on 26th May is a combined venture by Mr.Viqaf Sande and Mr.Fawzan Khan. The ‘Taste Bhi Health Bhi’ section of the menu consists of some exclusive health drinks like neem, spinach, mint, beetroot, carrot and cucumber in various exciting combinations. The ‘Juice Island’ includes an array of sweet and sour juices of rarely available fruits like kiwi, khus, litchi, guava and mint in assorted stirring mishmash. The mouth watering menu of “Chaat street” has a variety of spicy and mouth-watering Pani Puri, masala chat, masala puri, mix chat etc. The milk shakes range from healthy fruit shakes to delicious dry fruit shakes.

“We researched the whole area for around three months and then zeroed on this place because we found that this place has a need for this kind of a joint. The food joint has a variety of fast foods ranging from sandwiches to pizzas and burgers. “Though we have many restaurants here a clean fast food joint was missing. So, we thought it would be productive to enter in to this business,” he explains. Ask him how his joint has an edge over the others and he quickly replies, “Our food is quite hygienic. Besides, in case you order something which you do not like we offer a quick replacement.”

Due to unavailability of an armed staff, they have not yet started home delivery facilities. “We will be starting that once we arrange proper staff and manage the jobs correctly,” he clarifies.

So, all the New Panvel residents finally you have a place where you can hangout and eat the yummy delights and all that at a pretty reasonable rate…
