Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: June 8: The future of 1300 students of Rai University, CBD is at stake with even Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chattisgarh rejecting the affiliation. The disheartened parents who have been constantly trying to get a secured career for their wards, have been moving from pillar to post appealing to various universities for affiliation.

The parent forum has been persistently keeping in touch with the authorities at Rai. They have organized a meeting tomorrow which would include the Rai university officials, students and the parents themselves to discuss about the future options.

The members of the Parents Forum are not happy with the notification of the Supreme Court. “It does not give any proper notifications to anyone, neither the universities nor the Rai people,” says Mr.Menon, a member of the Parents Forum whose son is studying in B.tech, Biotechnology in Rai University. “We have been told by the Rai authorities that there is a positive feedback from Mr.D.V.Patil, the Education Minister to get an affiliation from Y.B.Chavan Open University, Nasik as he belongs to NCP. So, we are hoping for this affiliation soon.” he adds.

Though the parents believe that it’s an uphill task and there will be lot of difficulties in getting the things done at an earnest. The parents are going to have a final meeting with Ms.Samita Shankar, chancellor of Rai University tomorrow to discuss the future prospects. Here, they will also discuss the outcome of the proposal which was submitted by Ms.Samita Sangar to the Y.B.Chavan Open University, Nasik.
