Vashi2Panvel.Com: Navi Mumbai: May 19: Going out for a cup of coffee as an excuse to spend time with friends or having a drink while on a night out is usual stuff but these casual drinks form a very important part of various celebrations and occasions in our lives. Raising a toast to a newly-wedded couple after a marriage ceremony is like a ritual just like having wine on Christmas eve is. Besides, one cannot do without some cool refreshments in summers or a cup of hot beverage in winter.

The most popular favorites in liquids are mocktails. Pinacolada is a personal favourite of Karishma Randhwa of Hello Dolly fame who also features as Tara in Star One’s ‘India Calling’.

Besides even Iqbal Khan who plays Angad in Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hain loves Fruit Punch, “Actually, I am a teetotaler so whenever I party or go out for dinner I prefer having mocktails. I mostly end up having Fruit Punch which is my personal favorite.” Not just Iqbal Khan but also Poonam Narula who played Maahi in Kkusum loves this fresh fruit flavored mocktail.

Though when it comes to cool drinks Karishma Randhwa loves Pinacolada, but if given an option she would always prefer her conventional cup of tea. “I love having my regular cup of tea. In fact, I am completely addicted to it. Besides, I think I make exquisite coffee so I like having coffee once in a while,” chuckles the actress.

Besides soft drinks and hot beverages many cannot think about celebrations without alcohol and whenever in a good state of mind they love to have their favourite drink. “I love scotch on the rocks and Bacardi Limoni, but now that I have given up on hard drinks, I stick to orange juice even when I go clubbing, because it is my all time favourite and is also very healthy,” states Manish Goyal of Nach Baliye fame who is also very health conscious, which explains his love for natural juices.

The ever stunning and gorgeous Pooja Bedi who is a famous socialite and is quite visible on the party screen in Mumbai swears by her fetish for coffee, “I am a complete coffeeholic,” confesses Pooja. This damsel nearly lives on coffee and has almost five to six cups of coffee everyday and at times even more than that. “Whenever I visit a new country or a new destination I make it a point to experience the flavour of the local coffee specialties in that particular area,” states Pooja.

Although Pooja vouches for her cup of coffee, the sensational Tanushree Dutta who made her acting debut in Aashiq Banaaya Aapne loves the lady’s drink, “I think a glass of wine can add a lot of delight to my evening outing and whenever out for a dinner I love a glass of wine as an accompaniment,” says Tanushree.
