More than a bank, it seemed to be a meeting ground for all passed out students of colleges affiliated to the Varsity! Why? Apparently, Mumbai University had tied up with the Bank of Maharashtra to provide convocation forms to the students. And, today being the last day for filling up the form, students from all streams had thronged the bank. A li’l birdie tells Chintamani that the student junta in the Nerul branch was immense but the bank staff was not too co-operative… “There were two counters for us but we were forced to make a one-line queue because they could not attend their regular customers,” lamented a student.
